  • Theresa received her masters in physical therapy from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2008 and her doctorate in physical therapy from Arcadia University in 2018. She also graduated from the neurologic physical therapy residency program at Kaiser Permanente Redwood City in 2010.

    Theresa is proud to be an ABPTS Board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist a small percentage of physical therapists in the country have this qualification. She has substantial neurologic physical therapy experience in hospital, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient settings.

    Her practice focuses on patients with neurologic conditions and she has a special interest in movement disorders.  She also has several years experience working with orthopedic and vestibular conditions.

    Theresa is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Movement Disorder Society.  She has been trained in various techniques including PWR!Moves™, LSVT BIG®, Delay The Disease™, and Tai Chi Fundamentals®.

    In addition to her time at Synaptic Physical Therapy, she is a faculty member of the Kaiser Permanente Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program and also lectures about Parkinson's disease to students attending the UCSF/SFSU doctorate of physical therapy program. She volunteers on the Parkinson Foundation's Moving Day® Silicon Valley planning committee and on several American Physical Therapy Association committees.
